The Pillar of Lights is based on work I have been exploring for a few years. It concerns among other things the quality of light and its link with colours when reflected through gemstones. In our work we use Light in many ways, as a description, an aim of enlightenment, as a goal to attain. One of the things that came up in my studies was the use of Talismans, Charms, and the way in which Gemstones are connected with luck, disaster, healing protection, and the containment of power/energy.
